My senior female cat(14) I suspect has hyperthyroidism. She’s more consistently vomiting, she’s extreamly vocal her whole life but recently she’s constantly screaming day and night. She’s lost weight too. I’ve taken her to the vet twice in 2 weeks to get two separate blood tests and they can’t confirm if she has hyperthyroidism, but detect early signs. They suggest blood tests every 2-4 weeks at 290$ each!! Are they scamming me?? She’s my baby and I just want her to be comfortable. Any suggestions on what I can do to minimize her symptoms?? I started feeding her more, and wet food every day mixed with water.
