In a “twilight zone/no man’s land” of hiring:

I can’t get a traditional FT job in my wheelhouse (enterprise IT) and the money’s becoming a thing, so I’ve been applying to grocery stores, banks, etc, and getting rejected there. Too much experience to get into the game, but not fitting into the places which actually are my jam…? Today was a day of several rejections.

Tomorrow will be the deal-breaker-I have an interview at a local Dunkin that I got as soon as I submitted an application, which suggests they’re desperate, too. If I can’t land that, then what hope do I have? Right now, it doesn’t seem like much.

Back to your regularly scheduled misery and/or dystopia of your choice.
