i’ve taken notice that every time i take a shower or bathe, my cats like to hang out and watch me, as well as play with the water. they do not drink it, fortunately. they know it doesn’t taste good, since we all know soap never tastes how it smells. i also know that cats are somewhat attracted to the sound of running water, and that likely plays a part. i also bathe with florals and sweeter scents a lot, and iirc cats can at least smell sweetness and become partial to it. i guess that could also mean that they’re attracted to the more intense smell of me when i’m actively bathing, and they’re like “that’s DAD!!” *ZOOM!!*
