This is Little Lottie, she’s around 6-7 weeks old and apparently has had a URI since she was adopted (I wasn’t at home when we got her, I’m a college student and am only home for a little bit). Overall she seems very healthy. She plays, sleeps, and is very active. She hasn’t been taken to the vet yet because we usually take our kittens for their first vet appointment when they’re getting spayed/neutered because once they weigh enough for that they weigh enough for most of the stuff the vet needs to give them.

Right now the only sign that she still has the URI is that she’s congested. She doesn’t struggle breathing but she is snorting a lot and sometimes gets the sneezies. She doesn’t seem to mind at all, really she doesn’t seem to even notice it. I know the danger of a URI can vary a lot depending on the cat, so we were wondering if we should take her to the vet earlier or if she’s good to still wait until she’s closer to 2-3 pounds. Right now she’s probably around 3/4 a pound or something.
