This is Pepe. People often talk about cats choosing a preferred human, but I think he’s equally bonded with both of us, just in different ways. I’m the “comfortable” human, the one he comes to for food and head scritches, the one he doesn’t mind being held by, and the one whose feet he sleeps next to at night.

When it comes to my husband, Pepe really doesn’t like being handled by him, will run away if my husband tries to pet him. But he gets really excited about playtime and walks with my husband (when he plays with me his energy is a bit low… lol), and he has conversations with my husband all the time like in this video! He NEVER ekekeks at me, ever 🤣
