I started looking to switch my job from one province to another in March and got few interviews. From there, i got one offer letter. It is permanent and i like the interview vibe and people. The process was pretty smooth and i signed the offer letter.

For another company, i gave interview through a recruiter and it is a one year contract. The company merged both the technical and business interview together. I did not like the vibe and they were showing off how busy they are and they dont get much personal time and stuff. I kinda knew that i wont get the offer. But i got a call from a recruiter saying that they want to know about one specific area of work so if i can email the recruiter some information. It is fishy for me that anyone can google and say whatever they want over the email.

I got a call today that i am selected and whats my joining date. After that i got emails from the recruiter to send my govt ids for background check and mailing address for laptop delivery.

Again, i haven’t even seen an offer letter or signed it but the recruiter is riding on his own horses.

Both the companies are legit. I have seen people leaving offer 1 and getting dumped by the other. I do not want to do that.
