Still a bit in shock, but this morning we said goodbye to Ellie, our calico girl. We don’t know how old she was (vet said she was older) but we gave her the best life we could. Had her for about 3.5 years, but she was definitely a senior kitty.

She died peacefully in her sleep, in her favorite chair, sometime in the night. I woke up to find her right before leaving for work.

I am a wreck, she was such a special cat, and we loved her so much.
