Hi everybody, how are you? My cat has been diagnosed as diabetic at 4 years of age, it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions and while I know it is a common thing perse, I never had a diabetic cat so I am really scared for him

For people who have had diabetic cats, did they get to live long happy lives? Have they been able to live pretty normal lives even if medicated?

He is a fairly young cat and I know diabetes is more common with older ones. I would assume living with it is easier for younger cats but it’s a new experience for me.
