Hey there FIC parents!

Sorry for the long read, thank you for taking the time

Backstory:

My cat got blocked a month ago so we took him to the ER of course. Ended up unblocking then within the hour, he blocked again, so he had two catheters and was there for 5 days. They diagnosed him with FLUTD. I’ve had him at home for a month and he’s been doing so good, peeing big!!(I can hear the stream!), drinking water, poopin good, playing, and being his annoying self 😂

Today however, he had a situation where him and his sister got into a tuffy. He peed immediately after but wasn’t squating all the way. It was a BIG one too! Then immediately after THAT, he went to go clean his privates, and he made the meow that we all know and makes our hearts stop. He started slowly peeing consistently. There were more and more redder pees, and I even found what I think is a blood clot or mucus plug. I put it in a baggy, as well as some pee I was able to suck up in a syringe and off to the ER we went. Luckily he isn’t blocked PHEW and his blood came back great. They’re currently waiting for the urine sample and what that will show, if it shows anything.

My predicament:

I bought all of the supplements that have been listed by multiple parents in this group, thinking they would work for his FLUTD as well. I’ll post a picture of what I bought but haven’t given to him yet; im concerned about some ingredients and what they’ll do to his pH.

-He’s currently on the royal canine urinary SO, some gab, and the usual meds for pain and bladder seizures. They have 3 litter boxes, 3 water fountains, a giant cat tree, another one that’s smaller but works well for them, and 3 cat windows. I also do have another litter box that’s not filled but can be.

—(I also just bought 2 separate cat shelve kits, and another 71 inch tree, as well as some more cat window beds lol 😂 over board)

———TLDR———

I don’t know which supplements he can have with his FLUTD and FIC. And if FLUTD and FIC the same thing?
