I took my cat, Elliot, into the vet yesterday after coming home from my partners to see him super lethargic. He was super pale (his nose is usually pink), and I got him yesterday around noon.

He is improving a lot overall, but he also had a super high fever there and was at 105 at his highest. They think stress was also making it higher since he doesn’t do too well with the vet. I am giving him antibiotics and a fever reducer and his temp has gone down since I am checking at home. It’s a 104.1 as of about 30 minutes ago. He has more energy, is eating and using the bathroom, but isn’t his usual playful self just yet and I am worried.

I know I probably need to give him a few more days, and my friend said to bring him back tomorrow if I need to, but he still can’t use his back legs much and grab treats and things like I’m used to. He can walk around fine but is slow moving on the stairs but will go up and down them. It just makes me so sad and he is my whole world. I’m curious if anyone has any experience with this.
