My cat had a surgery on her stomach last Thursday (4/16). Today when I picked her up to check on the incision, I noticed the bottom half is looking red and wet. Does it look like it’s possibly reopening? When I checked it last maybe 2-3 days ago, it was noticeably more swollen but the actual incision was not as red and wet looking. The vet said her stomach will heal quickly within a couple days and she has really left it alone so I haven’t been too concerned with it. I have messaged the image to her vet, but the line is only opened during working hours and I won’t hear back until tomorrow morning. Wondering if I should just wait on a response from the vet, or if any action needs to be taken tonight.
