So my baby (4 year old neutered large cat who is indoor/outdoor and used to be a stray) went missing on the 12th. We believe he eloped basically because he was very good friends with another outdoor cat who was wailing for him right before he went missing. We’ve only lived in this area for 6th months, which usually I would think is enough time for this particular cat to get his bearings and never get lost, but he’s probably not very used to so many of the apartments looking basically the same.

I don’t really know where he could possibly be at this point other than stolen or lost. He would have had to go pretty far to get lost and not come running to me during any of my searches though. We THINK one of our neighbors saw him a few days ago, but we haven’t managed to figure out where he is or how to find him. Put out sent stations, do daily rounds, and put up lots and lots of posters. Posted to every online board we can think of.

I’m still doing everything I would be doing if he just went missing yesterday, but I’m losing hope. At this point my only real hope is that either A. He’s been accidentally stolen and whoever took him will happen to see a poster and then get him back to us or B. He is randomly spotted and taken into a shelter to get his chip scanned so he can return to us. I think he’s alive and well, he is such a large cat and very street smart, but I miss him terribly. Please give me hope that he’ll eventually get scanned and returned.
