Woke up at one in the morning, paced my 400 square-foot studio apartment, found the left rear burner on level two.

He’s been jumping on and off of everything today. I’ve never been able to keep him off counters. He’s been almost obsessively affectionate recently and very rambunctious. I almost wonder if he’s bored and needs a friend but any other time I’ve lived with another cat it seems like he much prefers being alone.

I took the knobs off of the burners, but the knob for my oven can’t come off. Any recommendations for some sort of tape that doesn’t lose its adhesive properties quickly being peeled and stuck back on? Because right now it’s looking like duct taping over it is my best bet.
