hey everyone, just needed to vent a bit because this one has been frustrating.
i recently went through a hiring process for a mid level role that i actually felt pretty good about. initial screening went well, then there were multiple rounds over a few weeks including a “final” panel interview. everything felt positive during the conversations, lots of “we will get back to you soon” type messages.
after almost a month of back and forth, i finally got a very short rejection email with no feedback at all.
i understand not every process leads to an offer, but the time investment and lack of closure was rough, especially after rearranging work and prep around their schedule.
just feels like the process could be a lot more respectful of people’s time.
