The two adult cats I have, were already fixed when I adopted them from the Humane Society, but I plan on keeping one of the stray kittens I found, and I know he’s way too young to be fixed right now, so how will I know when he’s ready?

My biggest fear is him starting to spray before I get him fixed, but again, how will I know when it’s time before it’s too late?
