Dear Recruiters,
Shouldn’t my resume at least have a go through your ATS? Then if I get past your ATS, have a human look at my resume? Then, and only then, give me the assessment (would prefer an interview, but at least human consideration). Assigning this assessment quickly may be to get past the BOTs or those on auto apply apps or programs, but could you please at least have your computer check against my resume first. We all know those not qualified that apply to everything will be quickly auto rejected anyway and if I am, fine. But at least give me a chance first.
I really think I have a chance with your company (my experience aligns very close) and I would love to work there. There wasn’t even a pay scale on the job description and I applied anyway. WHY, oh why, must I take an assessment before any review by any human in your company? Why does it say “set aside some time” and not give me a definite time frame to plan my day? Having a 10 minute or even 30 minute time limit would help me decide when I can do this. Even unemployed, I have other commitments.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
An unemployed person just hoping for some humanity in this world.
