I’ve had Mini Wheat for about 2 years now and my husband and I are going on our honeymoon in September. We will be gone for 6 nights in a different country.

In the past, we’ve had friends stop by when we are gone for a long weekend but I’ve never left her for this long before. My husband thinks we should continue that for this trip, but I worry about her only having an hour or so of human interaction a day while we’re gone and have friends stop by for her.

Do you think/in your experience: would it be more stressful for her to go to someone’s house for the whole time we are away rather than staying in our home with daily visits?

She is a social and fairly cuddly cat who was once abandoned…and I WFH so I hate to leave her alone and thinking I won’t come back for her.
