As my title says, I don’t know what to do anymore.

I have been laid off last October for a bogus reason (position eliminated but weirdly reopened less than a month after) and over since, things have been complicated.

For the first few months I just got nothing, applied for 5-10 jobs and day, used a generic resume for the “meh” jobs and a tailored one for better ones.

In early December I finally went through some interviews, even went through 4 interviews with a company but then nothing. They just ghosted me.

I had to keep going so I kept applying. And I don’t know why but mid February, I just got a lot of interviews, like 5 a week for few weeks. I went through 3-4 interviews round with few companies. 2 of them finally admitted that after all, the position never existed in the first place. 3 completely ghosted me (including Google) after at least 2 interviews with them. I still have a company that says they like me and want to hire me, but keep telling me that they are waiting on the hiring team update, it’s been over 2 months so we all know what that means.

We are now at the end of April and nothing, no calls, no interviews anymore.

I changed my resume few times through the process, each time I speak with someone, they tell me that they like me and I have a great profile but they still ghost me afterwards.

I am definitely at lost now, I don’t know what to do, I don’t get what is going on with all those recruitment teams, we can see here so many recruiter speaking about value and respect but it definitely doesn’t apply to them I guess.

I “work” in the telecommunications field, tried to changed to other fields but same results. I guess I just need to keep going but I don’t really know how.
