So, I recently brought in a stray cat that I have been feeding for about a year. We are now about 6 months into him being inside, and things were going well… sort of. Our resident cat was very aggressive towards him, and she was getting into spats with him constantly. We decided to try reintroducing them, and put her into a spare room while giving him the rest of the house (she can be picked up and handled, he cannot, which is why we chose to keep them separated this way). Things were fine for the past few days, but today he suddenly tried to pee on 2 pillows in our living room, successfully did it on one of them. He has access to 2 litterboxes, food, water, toys, etc. Is this him trying to eliminate her scent, or does he miss her? He does like her, she doesn’t like him
