Rusty started hanging out at my house about 2 1/2 years ago. He was a stray, almost feral. I eventually convinced him to come in the house overnight. He’s still an indoor/outdoor cat. He prefers to potty outside .When the weather is good, he’ll stay out most of the day, even disappears overnight at least once a week. He does enjoy the comfort of his bed. I’m going on vacation for about a week and don’t know what to do with him. He’s never been around people, other than me. He kinda freaks out if left in the house by himself for long periods. I don’t think he’d do well at someone else’s house, but I worry about leaving him in the house for a week. Would he be ok if I left food for him outside? Thinking about getting a gravity feeder.
