Looking for some support/advice

just over two months ago, I lost my cat of 11 years to a host of health problems. He had IBD/pancreatitis, CKD, hyperthyroidism, and a heart murmur that eventually towards the very end developed into some type of heart disease without the notice of any of our specialists. He died before we found out exactly what was going on with his heart.

We were managing his conditions well for 3 years until he had a catastrophic crash in February that he couldn’t come back from. Though I knew he likely wasn’t going to live to be that old due to his health, he was acting completely normal up until about 36 hours before his body had shut down to the point of no return. It happened SO fast which leads me to believe that he was probably in pain for some time and just masking it even though all his bloodwork’s was normal and he had been to the vet frequently 😔 I missed the signs

I have two other cats that are not young (9 and 11) and have always been extremely healthy…after how traumatic the last couple days were with my late cat, I can’t shake the paranoia that they are sick or dying and hiding their pain. I am micro analyzing every little thing they do and …wondering if I should take them to the vet when nothing is really wrong and they aren’t due for anything and both hate the vet. Has anyone else experienced this after the death of a cat?Does it get better over time? Is this crazy?

I’m so scared something is going on and I’m going to miss the signs.
