My sweet kitty beans had a health scare this week when he had a blockage. I am putting him on the urinary stress diet (soooo expensive >_<) any tips on keeping him healthy?

They said it was more than likely Idiopathic Cystitis that caused it but i do everything I can to keep him happy and safe and healthy. What could I be doing more of to prevent this from happening?

I also feed him a diet of wet food and dry with water added, but he HATES eating dry fiod with water in it he won’t eat much but I refuse to give it to him without water. So I am wondering when I give him the dry c/d food do I need to add as much water if any?
