Hi People. I was looking to adopt a +/- 4 month old British Short hair found on the streets by a lady two months back. Blood tests at the time came clean and the kitten also looked groomed, suggesting it was a lost/abandoned pet. But no one has claimed him till date, so I was planning to adopt him myself. I was wondering how to go about the vaccination scenario in a case like this? It seems to reason that he may be vaccinated already considering he was clearly looked after. Is there any way to know for sure? Is it risky to his health in anyway (with regards to double-vaccination in case he was vaccinated already) if I just go ahead and get him vaccinated all shots anyway? (To be clear, his age of 4 months now is a best guess by the vet). Much appreciate any guidance on the matter. Cant trust the vets blind since stands ton reason they will have vested interest in (vaccination)business.
