Applied to a company for a UX engineer position. Cleared 3 rounds of interview including a technical assessment and even spoke to one of the directors in the final interview and still got ghosted. I’ve been checking my email and WhatsApp like a desperate ex for the last week or so and still no response, not even a rejection mail.

By now I’ve applied to around 900+ places according to LinkedIn (Ik rookie numbers) and so far got around like 12-15 interviews, some of which I didn’t get because I was underqualified according to their standards and some well you guessed it…ghosted.

This job market is a nightmare and I really don’t know how long I’ll stay unemployed this. I planned to start my Masters soon too and hopefully pay for it if I can at all but it seems impossible at the moment given the current condition of the job market. Its ruining my mental health.
