This stray cat has been in my yard for about a week. I’m unable to keep it as I have my own cats and can’t financially support another so I’m working to find a rescue to get him into. He is currently in a trap so I’ll be able to transport him, but how can I safely do this to make sure I don’t carry anything in to my cats? I’m worried about the potential for fleas mostly. If I move the trap with him in it will they jump on my clothes and be carried inside? What about transport in my car? My cats have monthly flea medicine but I’m still paranoid. Any advice is appreciated!
