My sweet cat who loves to go outside has been meowing at me for weeks because I’ve kept her inside. There’s a big typhus outbreak in Los Angeles and I don’t want any potential fleas she gets to spread to me and then I get hospitalized. She got fleas once but I treated her.

My question is — if I gave her Frontline and started letting her outside again, would we be clear of her spreading fleas?

Her favorite thing in the world is going outside so this is really eating her up. Sadly she doesn’t speak English so my explanations to her haven’t been working.
