I’m currently taking care of a kitten from 2 weeks old until he’s 7 weeks old. (He is currently 3 weeks old)

He’s the cutest thing ever, and I’ve started to fall in love with him but he is not mine. My friend will be taking him in. And I cannot keep him.

I will still visit him at least twice a month if I can. But I was wondering if he would remember or hold any attachment to me considering he’s so little. He’s very attached to me and loves cuddling up against me. But I worry that I will become a stranger or not be in his memory at all since he still can’t really see yet (though his eyes are wide open lol)

So to those more familiar with cats-- will he forget my influence after I give him up in a few weeks? Is 7 weeks too young for him to form any bond with me?
