Around the beginning of April I applied for a job at a big medical device company that is probably one of the top 3 in the field. They reached out really fast within maybe 3 days? and after only 12 days I was already at the fourth interview. I looked it up online at other discords and moving that fast seems really uncommon for them.

They mentioned they wanted to have an offer out by the end of the month but honestly I feel like I bombed that fourth interview. It was very tough because it was super technical and nothing like what I expected and gathered by asking people around. It wasn’t even reasonable questions it was more like an actua schooll test or a stress test. They did say they weren’t looking for a perfect answer but it still felt pretty rough.

​Now it has been over a week since that last interview and the HR person specifically asked me to reach out by a certain date if I heard nothing so I did exactly that but they haven’t even replied and it has been 2 days now.

Before this they would reply very fast sometimes even minutes after my emails so the silence is stressing me out significantly. Since the previous interviews went so fast and now it is dead silent is it safe to assume I am not in the running anymore? I know I was the first one they interviewed for that round and they had other people to see but I still feel pretty defeated. I have been applying to so many jobs and having this one move so quickly gave me a lot of hope. Has anyone else dealt with something like this where it goes extremely fast and then just stops? My Workday status still says interview but at this point I just have no clue how to feel.
