dude the mods on programming.dev are just as bad…
Uh source? Haven’t seen anything posted about them yet.
A long time ago, when Lemmy was new, a few people were somewhat worried the threadiverse would split due to differing leftist ideologies clashing over the matters of how far “too far” might be.
lol, look where we are.
As always, projection from them. They wanted to remove the left after they colonized the platform.
Sorry for being out of the loop, why might they be doing that? Biggest instance throwing its weight around a bit?

Dbzer0 additional context: https://lemmy.zip/post/63038654Tl;dr An anarchist.nexus admin made a comment which was perceived as a call to violence against a lemmy.world admin. The anarchist.nexus admin stepped down from their anarchist.nexus admin role but not their admin role at dbzer0.
Thank you. That’s more nuanced than I initially assumed, but I personally don’t think de-federating would be warranted. Not up to me though, obviously! lol
Let them show how evil they are, I could use less Blue MAGA “but muh blue millionaire will fix everything, but also can’t fix anything, but you’re wrong for saying that”
Well, shit. Good thing I jumped ship early.
I originally tried to create an account on db0 when I first joined Lemmy, but I never got a response to my application. I had to settle for world. Guess I’ll have to try again.
Early lemmy was not good at telling people if their application got rejected. Now you should know
Good, nothing of value will be lost
Noted, I’ll see how soon I can migrate.
Wish Lemmy had some kind of invite system. I would totally invite people to join to help make it easier.
