*before i start this post ik you can’t MAKE animals do anything and you can’t control who they like the most*

That being said, we are very soon adopting our first kitten and I am very excited. It is going to live at my dads house (I am 16 and my parents are divorced) and it is going to be “my cat” that I will take with me when I finish school and move out of home.

Ideally because of this I would really like the kitten to be attached to me the most and have a strong bond with me and almost see me as her “mum” figure.

This will be hard because I will only see her every second week but how do I form a really strong bond with my new kitten?
