Hi everyone! Looking for some advice.
We have a new kitten, she’s 4 months old (ain’t she the cutest?!). Sadly she lost one of her legs in an accident before we took her in. She seems to be adapting very well to moving on one leg, although she mostly drags herself on it.
The situation we haven’t been able to figure out is her poops. She often drags poop with her, it is usually stuck to her behind. We have a closed litter box, her poops are a bit softer than what you’d expect (she’s still getting used to her new food I guess). What can we try to help her out? We will open the litter box to help her poop in a straighter position, but any other advice on how to help her out would be appreciated! Wiping every time she goes in the litter box would be a challenge, since there are hours in the day no one is at home
