She’s thriving. She adopted herself breaking into our house 6 months after moving in.
Her hair was dirty and short and she was pregnant. She eventually had her baby girl that winter and we gave her up for adoption to our vet.
The vet estimated she was 10 at the time, around 13 this year.
We sterilised her and, this year, removed all her teeth. It was so scary because she’s an old lady that never had any big surgery apart from the sterilisation.
By the time she was pregnant, she started developing this big mass in one of her breasts.
It eventually became bigger and turned purple.
The vet tried draining it but it kept growing back. We stopped touching that breast as the vet suggested that we leave it alone since she’s old and told us that they prefer not to do surgery on cats’ breasts as an eventual tumor might spread.
Anyone who has experienced this? Any recommendations? I know it’s probably breast cancer but I don’t want to admit to myself that my baby has cancer. She doesn’t suffer from the breast btw she doesn’t have any discomfort even when we pet her on the belly
