Not really, but it feels that way lately. And to start, he’s well taken of, does not have any health issues, and is seen by the vet regularly.

Here’s why I think he hates me: All day long he is quiet, calm, as peaceful as any cat can be. The same can be said for the nighttime. That is, up until about 4:30 in the morning. This is when he starts yowling as he walks around the house like a weird little ghost. At least twice a week I have to put my curtains back up (they’re on a tension rod) because he has torn them down. He scratches at the sides of his litter box for HALF AN HOUR (it’s cleaned daily), and then he sits and drinks his water louder than my dog does and for like a minute straight. I will be fixing this issue by removing the water bowl from my bedroom. And I’m unfortunately the type of person that once I wake up, I’m awake. And this little shit loves waking me up before the sun is up.

The second reason I think he hates me is because he will climb up on me, be sweet like he wants to cuddle, but if I touch him AT ALL or move at all, he does this weird and angry sounding, higher pitched yowl. He’ll even bite me if I try to get him off me. I took him to the vet the first time this happened because I thought maybe he was in pain because of how he reacted when I touched him. He’s fine. Now this ONLY happens sometimes, and only when he’s crawled on me to cuddle up. He does not react to my touch this way if he’s just hanging out.

I’ve had him for about two years, he’s the first cat I’ve ever had and I got him by accident. I love him regardless of all of this. But I genuinely don’t know what his problem is!!! The vet claims he has none. So, is my cat just being annoying? Or has he been possessed by some demon who hates letting people sleep? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL, IM SLIPPING INTO INSANITY.

TL;DR: My cat is being a loud and obnoxious jerk early in the morning, acts like a jerk when I touch him, and is perfectly healthy. I’m losing my mind.
