So we adopted Mochi almost a year ago with NO information besides she didn’t get alone with the older cat at her foster home so she was sent back and put up for adoption.

When we got her, she was VERY vocal but was just randomly screaming at walls and doors so we didn’t really know what she wanted.

For the last 6~ months she has been getting on our table or going up to our door and SCREAMING till her voice gives out. We thought she wanted to go outside so we got her a harness but she HATES it (tried leaving it on her for a few mins a day but she rips it off or starts scratching herself to get it off ).

She only screams when we’re home though as we have cameras to check while we’re at work and she doesn’t say a peep. She hates affection if it isn’t on her own time. We have another cat that she gets along with so she’s not alone. I just don’t know what else to do to help her 😭 we’ve lost a few hours of sleep due to it
