Hey everyone, just here for some advice. I got a 6 year old cat and in September I am moving to a different country to do my masters. I’m not sure if I should take her with me.

Currently I live with my parents and they have a big 3 story house and she has an acre of land where she gets to come and go as she pleases during the day (for anyone wondering she is too slow to hunt birds nor does she care for them, and nothing really can get in as the walls are 4 meters high and any holes that are big enough for an animal has been covered so she’s can’t get out and no one can come in).

She flew with me a handful of times so she is a very easy and comfortable on flights. The issue is that I have is that I will be moving into a two bedroom apartment that has a lot less space and zero outdoor area. She loves to just sunbathe and hang out outside.

Has anyone been through this? Should I take her with me or leave her with my parents (they are not cat lovers but they don’t mind her. But she is my cat and I always took care of her)

She is my little baby but I’m not sure if taking her from such “luxury” is the right move
