My sweet granny, Myra, is very sick. She has severe balance issues and is stumbling a lot. She’s being treated for an inner ear infection, but chances of that fixing it are slim. She had a seizure yesterday and almost died, she was panting heavily and I honestly thought she wouldn’t make it. I managed to get her back, but things aren’t looking good. There’s a big probability that her issues are neurological and there aren’t really any feasible treatment options (in part because she’s almost 17 and already quite weak). She’s still eating well and goes on the litterbox, so I’m just trying to make her as comfortable as possible. She’s only getting her absolute favorite food and treats. I want to keep her with me as long as possible, but I’m afraid I’m going to have to make a difficult dicission soon. I got her from a shelter when she was still a kitten, she’s my little sweetheart.
