My cat and I live in a downstairs apartment with a balcony. My balcony has a cage so my cat cannot escape and is safe to be on the balcony when I’m not there.

For the last few weeks some of the neighbourhood cats are pissing against our cage. This is pissing me off because it’s filthy, but more important than that is the fact my cat is going crazy over it.

I really don’t know what to do about it. They of course never do it when I’m near. I had a problem before with a young cat climbing our cage and I sprayed her with water to scare her off and that worked. But since I never catch the pissers in the act that is not an option.

Would really appreciate some advice in this matter
