My cat started having an eye issue one eye was watery and a little squinty, and there was some discharge. He wasn’t acting super sick, but it was definitely bothering him. Normally I’d just take him in, but I live in a really expensive area and a vet visit is easily $300+ just to start, so I hesitated.

Didn’t want to ignore it, but also didn’t want it turning into a whole expensive situation so I ended up trying an online vet called TelaVets. It’s $65 for the appointment, and i just did a quick video call. The vet talked it through with me and was able to send medication the same day. They sent antibiotics and eye drops to my pharmacy so I could pick it up and get him started on it right away.

It was simple and didn’t turn into a whole thing. Figured I’d share in case anyone else is dealing with something similar and putting it off because of cost.
