I love this cat, a little tuxedo that we rescued from outside named Alfalfa, shes potty trained, sleeps in bed and cuddles us, but due to her being a stray she has food insecurity. We feed her three times a day because shes a growing girl but she still goes out and eats her sisters food. She gooes on the counter tops and eats whatver meat she finds, she’ll chew through plastic to get to packaged meat, steals from peoples plates, goes through the garbage can, everything. The reason I made this post is actually because she just stole a piece of raw chicken that we were cleaning, and she stole one last night, we went from 12 to 10 pieces of chicken but thats not the point.

I dont know what to do with this rat, I do like this cat but she’s starting to piss me off with her eating habits and i dont know what to do, I tell my family members not to leave food out and not to leave pots of meat uncovered but they dont listen. Ive resorted to locking her in her carrier whenever she does unpreferred behaviors but I know this isnt ideal. What do I do with her.
