(Ignore his misaligned bottom teeth it happened when he was a stray and hurt himself)
Okay I’m actually losing my mind at this point.
I have an 8 month old cat with gingivitis, but otherwise he’s perfectly healthy. Eats fine, plays, normal energy, no other issues at all. I’ve taken him to THREE different vets already and it still isn’t fixed.
Every visit is the same story. Slightly opinions, temporary meds, maybe a cleaning suggestion, but nothing that actually solves it.
Now I’m about to book a FOURTH visit and it just feels ridiculous. Like how is this still not properly handled after multiple vets?
Has anyone else dealt with persistent gingivitis in a young cat like this? Did anything actually work long term?
Would really appreciate hearing real experiences because right now it just feels like I’m going in circles.
I guess there is one small thing that hasnt been addressed he throws up clear fluid every couple of days but not throwing up food… just clear liquid…
The vet bills are really piling up and i dont want to be paying for tooth extractions (his teeth look intact still)
He doesnt need those yet hes only 8months
Im frantically trying to solve this quickly but nothing is working
Please help me.
(Eats dry food, bowel movements are good he is well hydrated, no lethargy or anything of that sorts)
