so we have a family cat who was a stray kitten that magically appeared in our backyard, we took her in and now she mainly lives outdoors but comes inside for pets and couch time. recently our neighbors adopted a new cat who is very cute but was raised indoors so she has less natural instincts/wit. she loves eating and she loves being petted, she eats all of my cat’s food to the point of vomit. she also thinks that our back yard is her home and naps in my cat’s usual private spaces, I even find her meowing outside our door some mornings. my cat doesn’t like her and growls whenever she sees her, they also get into fights sometimes (whenever i see it happen I let my cat inside to separate them) but the neighbors’ cat seems clueless, she doesn’t even run when you try to “scare” her away like most cats do.
now the thing is- she’s a cat, she obviously doesn’t do anything out of malice and is actually super cute and cuddly but she gets in the way all the time to the point where my cat is forced to look for alternative spots to nap/chill in because hers are taken. Is there anything I can possibly do?
