Recently I have had two different companies post a full time permanent position (same professional industry) with benefits. Then once in the hiring process that switched to contract-to-hire and they gradually pulled benefits and whittled down the pay.
Do these companies really think this attracts quality workers? Do they really not care that it ruins their reputation in the industry? We all talk in various online spaces.
It might be an employers market now but that pendulum will likely swing back to a more balanced place and the damage will already be done.
No matter how desperate you are please do not take these opportunities. We need to push back on this unethical bs.
