We have two cats Vicota and Antonietta. Vicota was adopted first, she was a stray that we fed and “trained” her to stay inside (tho she still goes outside). Antonietta on the other side, was a inside cat until her pregnancy, where her previous “owners” dumped her outside and refused to let her and her babies in (the babies unfortunately passed). We took her in after seeing this situation and found out too late that she was pregnant again. Two of Antonietta’s babies have been already adopted and one is due to be delivered to her owner on the 29th.
The thing here is: Vicota and Antonietta don’t get along at all. They fight really bad as soon as they see the other, so we keep them separated (take in consideration that this is not in my house, is in my mother’s office), Vikota often stays in my mom’s personal office and outside while Antonietta stays in the main area with her babies. My mom obviously doesn’t like that Vikota goes outside, specially now that a neighbor has threatened to poison the strays of the area but she growls and hits Antonietta really bad we don’t know what to do.
My mom is considering relocating one of them but I honestly feel that it should be the really last option :(
Does anyone have any tips? How can we approach this?
