Need helpppp before I lose my mind!

My baby’s name is Blue, and she is about 13 years old. She recently started pooping all over the house. On the floor, on the couch, places that don’t make any sort of sense- like she will wedge herself into a decoration and poop on it. And she will have about 8-10 bowel movements a day, which to me seems like way more than normal. And it’s diarrhea-ish usually. She will always pee in the litter box though (small victory)

I took her to the vet, and they basically offered nothing. They said to put her on a flea medication. Mind you, she is an indoor cat who I have never noticed itching. I brush her daily and haven’t seen anything. But never the less, I started her on NextStar flea treatment.

No help. I haven’t changed her food, her litter boxes are in the same places, she has 5- pretty much one in each room. Nothing new or different in the environment. I tried adding the scent attract to 2 of the boxes, but that had no effect.

Any idea what could be going on? I thought it might just be because she’s getting older, that would explain pooping on floors. But not really finding the odd places to go.

I love my baby to death, but it’s getting frustrating to have to clean up messes the second I wake up until the time I go to sleep. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!
