Hey guys 😭 I need help with my cat. She was a stray but has been indoors since about 5 weeks old, and she’s fully adjusted to indoor life (she has zero interest in going outside).

The problem is… she doesn’t know how to drink water normally. We’ve tried everything. Regular bowls, water fountains, changing the water multiple times a day to keep it fresh, but nothing works. Instead of drinking from the bowl, she sticks her paws in, splashes water everywhere, and then licks it off her paw. She refuses to put her head down to drink.

With fountains, it’s even worse! She just plays with the stream and ends up attacking and breaking them.

At this point I have no idea what to do 😭 How do I get her to actually drink water without turning it into a full-on water park?
