hi everyone. i have a 12 year old (almost 13) chubby tuxie, and she is my whole world. shes neutered, about 14 pounds. perfect history. never any problems. was even exposed to parvo and had no complications. last month, i noticed she threw up a little hairball. nothing alarming. a few days ago, she did the same. last night, she sounded a little choked up like she had a hairball but it stopped after like 2 minutes and then she went on to go eat as normal and use her litterbox as normal. other than this, she is in absolute perfect health. shes not constipated, she eats fine, is hydrated, active, has lost no weight, isnt lethargic or overly sleepy. im definitely over reacting and just worried because shes my baby but i need to make sure. i spoke to my mom about it and a few other family members who have cats, and they all say its normal. this is not something that happens regularly. she does groom herself quite a bit, and she sheds a lot, so i was wondering if i need to start brushing her more?
