It almost always undermines what candidates ARE doing on a daily basis before even submitting an application. I scour TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, articles. Heck even LinkedIn has posts too. Don’t get me started on career “coaches.” Do you really think I don’t know how to write a resume? To include or not include professional summary/objective. Tailor your resume and job search. Let’s not forget to network. Then the interview advice - perfect your pitch, STAR & follow up emails. It’s always that you’re xyz wrong. how much more practice & twisting will be good enough? We’re not even getting rejection emails.
