My male cat had a pretty stressful day today, he snuck into my basement and had to get a bath and ever since then he has been extremely anxious and acting strange. He is normally playful but has been extra erratic in episodes all day, and just a while ago his back has started rippling and he started to attack his tail just like a cat with FHS would do.

I’m wondering, if this could be an episode caused just by today or if he developed something permanently? And if so, does anyone with a similar situation have any advice? There isn’t all that much information online about it.

This cat is my best friend and I’m so stressed that I might have made him develop something like that. Thank you.
