I’m going to give as much detail as possible without giving away the company name itself so here it goes: I finally got hired as an analyst for a relatively small software company after over a year of unemployment. We’re going through constant rapid growth and restructuring. I got through orientation and then literally just one week into my job our team got the news that our manager’s role got eliminated. They assured us that “business will continue as usual” but of course that doesn’t make me feel any more secure about the situation. My boss’ boss will basically be my boss now. Any advice on how I should approach this? We’re a team of 3 analysts if you want a little more context.
