Hi everyone! I just got a 5-month-old male cat who has never been vaccinated. The previous owner only dewormed him about a month ago, and I’m planning to deworm him again this week. He is an indoor-only cat with no contact with other cats. I have two questions:

How long should I wait after deworming before his first vaccine? I’m getting conflicting advice on the schedule:

One vet says: first vaccine → wait 20 days → neuter Another vet says: first vaccine → wait a month → booster → wait 20 days → neuter

Which schedule is correct? Is the booster necessary before neutering?

Should the rabies vaccine be given at the same time as the first vaccine, or separately?

Additional context: he is not spraying yet and I’d like to get him neutered before it becomes a habit. Thanks in advance!
